Savills scooped up four wins at the CoStar Awards in London on the 7th March. The industrial team were awarded Most Active Agent by Acquisitions – London, the retail investment team picked up Top Investment Agency by Value – London Retail Investment. Hunter Booth and Stuart Lawson were dubbed Dealmaker of the Year in the West End Offices and Midtown Office category respectively.
Held at Gibson Hall in the City of London, the event was attended by SEGRO, AXA IM, Knight Frank and JLL. Sunday Times Economics Editor David Smith and CoStar founder and CEO Andrew Florence were the key speakers on the night.
Mark Garmon-Jones, head of retail investment, comments: “The award from CoStar is a great accolade to the market leading work our investment and occupational teams have done. We have been involved on some of the most high profile deals including the sale of Burlington Arcade and Pacific Eagle’s acquisition Belstaff House on Bond Street.”
Toby Green, head of London and the South East, industrial & logistics, says: “We are very pleased to have received this award and to have been recognised for our acquisition work across the capital. We have cultivated a number of key occupier clients including DFS, Bosch, Big Yellow, Bunzl, Lidl and B&M, and have continued to grow our occupier advisor capability this year. It is testament to the hard work of the team that we have picked up yet another trophy!’
Stuart Lawson, director in the Central London office agency team, adds: “To be crowned Dealmaker of the Year is an honour, although despite the individual recognition both Hunter and I work as part of a much bigger team and it is the successful collaboration of the latter that is able to deliver results for clients. The CoStar Awards serve as clear recognition of Savills work in the central London market. With all our efforts at King’s Cross over the last decade, office leasing in both the Midtown and West End markets plays a key part of our London offer.”
