The awards, which were attended by over 850 property professionals, saw Savills beat shortlisters CBRE and Knight Frank for the global award and CBRE Residential, Cushman & Wakefield, Dexters, SAY Property Consulting and Strutt & Parker for the residential award. Winners and finalists were selected over two days of judging by a panel of esteemed judges from across the industry. Savills was the headline partner at the event and sponsored the National Company of the Year award, which was won by SEGRO.
Jeremy Helsby, Group CEO of Savills plc, comments: “We are absolutely thrilled to win both the Global and Residential Real Estate Adviser awards and to receive such important industry recognition. In line with our overall growth strategy, we have continued to invest across the business through our recent acquisition of Cluttons Middle East, providing Savills a strategic platform for growth in this region. In addition, in the UK we have further enhanced our leading property management platform announcing the acquisition of the third party property management portfolio of ‘Broadgate Estates’ from British Land.
“Savills leads the way in the residential sector. Our strong client focus, commitment to our people, global coverage, unrivalled market knowledge and relentless innovation, have led to a number of key successes, as well as significant market-share growth in the past year. These two awards are a real testament to all of the hard work and dedication from everyone at Savills and we look forward to continuing this success into the new year.”
