International real estate advisor Savills has spent 12 years at the top of the real estate agents / advisor category league table in the UK Business Superbrand list, once again ranking first place.
The list, which has been tracking the UK’s leading business-to-business brands since 2001, was compiled by surveying 2,500 business professionals from across the country alongside a panel of marketing experts. The process, managed by The Centre for Brand Analysis (TCBA), saw just over 1,500 brands from across 62 categories judged against three core factors: quality, reliability and distinction, whilst also considering the definition of a Superbrand: ‘A Superbrand has established the finest reputation in its field. It offers customers significant emotional and/or tangible advantages over its competitors, which customers want and recognise.’
Mark Ridley, CEO of Savills UK and Europe, comments: “The fact that we have spent more than a decade as the top UK Real Estate Superbrand is testament to the unwavering strength of the Savills brand. We pride ourselves on being recognised for our qualities, reliability and distinction which is all part of offering our clients a best in class service. To be recognised not just by our peers, but by the UK business industry as a whole is entirely down to the ongoing hard work and commitment of our staff.”
Stephen Cheliotis, CEO of The Centre for Brand Analysis (TCBA) and Chairman of Superbrands, adds: “Being recognised as a Business Superbrand for 12 years straight is no easy feat, but Savills have not only retained their Superbrand status throughout that time but also incredibly topped their category for that whole period. They should rightfully be proud of that achievement. They are a fantastic example of a B2B company that has continued to invest in their brand over the long-term. We hope that this effort not only inspires other companies evaluating the importance of investing in their brand, but that it also continues to translate into further success for them.”
Savills is a leading global real estate service provider listed on the London Stock Exchange. The company, established in 1855, has a rich heritage and over 700 offices and associates throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East, employing over 30,000 people.
