Nick is an Associate Director and the Head of the Bristol Planning Team. Having joined from the Planning Inspectorate, Nick has extensive experience of national, regional, strategic and local planning policy, guidance and procedures. Since joining Savills, Nick has been involved in the preparations and submissions of a number of high profile planning applications including an outline planning application for the regeneration of Millbay Docks at Plymouth on behalf of English Cities Fund. He has also submitted representations on a range of policy matters and has appeared at the South West Regional Spatial Strategy Examination in Public and a number of Local Development Framework Examinations on behalf of various clients.

Garth is a Chartered Town Planner and heads the Cambridge
planning team. He provides planning advice to a wide range

Head of Transport Planning
Mike Horsfall is Head of Savills Transport Planning based in the Cambridge office. A Chartered Civil Engineer, he has over 30 years experience of working in the transportation profession, in the UK and overseas. He is both a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of the Institution of Highways and Transportation. Mike has worked extensively on major transport and development projects in both public and private sector, involving all primary modes of transport, including maritime and aviation. He has extensive experience in all aspects of the analysis of transport impacts, traffic modelling and technological innovation in the transport field.

He is frequently appointed as lead consultant on development teams, and instructed to give expert evidence at public inquiries and other hearings. Mike is a chartered town planner with 20 years experience. A former head of planning, Mike has brought this experience to bear on a number of high profile Central London projects, focussing on Westminster in particular early. Savills have been retained by the London Clinic to provide planning advice on their quantum leap project, a £100 million remodelling, refurbishment and modernisation of the main hospital and other sites in the Harley Street area. Phase, 1, a new Cancer Centre, is under construction Mike has enjoyed a run of successful applications for Caprice Holdings Ltd, most notably a new private members club above the iconic Ivy restaurant due to open in the summer of 2008. He is advising a wide variety of clients on varied projects in Central London.

Director and Joint Head of Central London Planning Team
John has 25 yeas planning, development and regeneration experience. He recently joined Savills from local government where he held a number of senior positions in London planning authorities. Before arriving at Savills he was Head of Planning and Transport at the London Borough of Southwark, which has one of the largest regeneration programmes in the country. He has also been the chief planner at the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames and for four years was the Director of Planning at the London Borough of Brent. John brings with him a wealth of experience of steering through major development proposals in the capital including some of the tallest planned schemes in London, the processing of planning applications for national sports stadia (Wembley and Twickenham) and numerous significant mixed-use, housing and estate regeneration schemes.

John Dyke gained wide experience
in local government with Westminster City Council. His

commercial planning practice. Jeremy is retained by

of landowners and funds including Legal & General,

He is currently advising on
schemes across the country which in total amount to
over 5 million sq. ft. Jeremy is well versed in setting
