According to the latest office report from international real estate advisor Savills, headline office rents in Manchester will reach £30 per sq ft (£323 per sq m) during 2011 as a result of a diminishing grade A supply combined with a recovery in demand for this product. Savills notes in its research that headline rents in the city during 2010 remained at a consistent peak of £28.50 per sq ft (£306 per sq m).

Blackstone buys Chiswick Park And retains Savills as letting agents

The investors in The Chiswick Park Unit Trust (CHISPUT) have sold 100% of the units in CHISPUT the Jersey based property unit trust that owns Chiswick Park in West London to The Blackstone Group. The sale was based on a property price of £480 million reflecting a 6.6% net initial yield. Savills and CB Richard Ellis acted in a joint agency capacity on behalf of the investors.
