Cevahir Shopping Centre, Istanbul

It’s not every young surveyor who gets the chance to work internationally – and when graduate trainee Andrew King was given the chance to work in Istanbul he jumped at it. The task was the acquisition by St Martins of the Cevahir Shopping Centre, Europe’s largest mall with 320 retail units, a 14–screen cinema, a theme park and far more. In fact, Andrew found himself working successfully on due diligence for Europe’s biggest single–asset transaction of recent years – an experience that has firmly committed his future to major trans–national deals.
