How were you involved? My involvement covered everything from inspecting and writing about the properties to working with lawyers to identify any potential legal issues.

What did you learn? It gave me a huge amount of responsibility. I primarily learned about my own capabilities and gained confidence in my professional opinion.

Have there been other projects? I was closely involved in the £14 million sale of Bourdon House in Mayfair, formerly home to the second Duke of Westminster.

How do graduates fit in at Savills? We’re looked after really well, and have every opportunity to develop a long career – in fact many of our main board directors joined from university.
