Sweco returns to Solihull’s Blenheim Court

International real estate advisor Savills, on behalf of a fund managed by Clearbell Capital, has let office space at Radcliffe House in Blenheim Court, Solihull to Sweco.

The engineering, environment and design consultancy has agreed a new five-year lease for 4,792 sq ft (445 sq m) of fourth floor office space at a rent of £21 per sq ft (£226 per sq m).  Comprising Radcliffe House and Chadwick House, Blenheim Court offers 150,000 sq ft (13,936 sq m) of Grade A office space in total, with occupiers including Jeld-Wen, JLT, Trayport Contigo and UK Power Reserve.

Jonathan Ottewell, associate director in the office agency team at Savills Birmingham, comments: “Sweco was based in this building until five years ago and the firm’s decision to return is testament to the improvement works undertaken since the scheme was acquired by its current owners in 2016.  It is encouraging that occupiers are continuing to invest in improved facilities and the amenity provision for staff.”

Sweco consults on major projects nationwide via its network of 15 regional offices, with recent work including the Queensferry Crossing in Scotland and Bloomberg’s headquarters in London, which is now the world’s most sustainable building.
