19 September 2017

On behalf of TH Real Estate, Savills has welcomed HomeStore & More to Craigleith Retail Park in Edinburgh, marking the first store for Ireland's leading independent homewares retailer  in the UK. HomeStore & More is the latest in a number of significant lettings at the scheme.

HomeStore & More has agreed to pay £27.50 per sq ft (£296 per sq m) on a new 15-year lease across 18,340 sq ft (1,703 sq m). In addition, Card Factory and Starbucks have both agreed new 10-year leases on circa 2,000 sq ft (186 sq m) units, paying £40 per sq ft (£431 per sq m), while Toys R Us has committed to a 12,000 sq ft (1,115 sq m) store, which will open to the public from Autumn 2017. Currys has relocated on the park to a new Dixons Carphone while other existing occupiers include M&S, TK Maxx, Boots and Homebase.

Mark Cruddas, senior portfolio and investment manager at TH Real Estate, comments: “We have recently undertaken a refurbishment programme, investing significantly in the repositioning of the park. These new lettings, especially Homestore & More’s first UK store, will help to breathe new life into the park, delivering an enhanced retail experience for our customers.”

Mike Spens, director in the retail team at Savills Scotland, adds: “We are extremely pleased to announce these latest lettings at Craigleith, which will be a major draw to the park reinforcing its attraction as a location and its already strong retail offer.”

Homestore & More was advised by CBRE. Card Factory was advised by HSA Retail, Starbucks by Eric Young & Co while Mason & Partners represented Toys R Us.  Savills is jointly appointed at the park with Cushmans & Wakefield.
