Cambridge Business Park launches first available office space for two years

23 May 2017

Savills and Carter Jonas, on behalf of The Crown Estate, are marketing a premium office suite at Newton House, the first space to become available at Cambridge Business park in almost two years.

Totaling 5,430 sq ft (504 sq m), the suite comprises newly refurbished open-plan office accommodation on the ground floor of the building. Prospective occupiers would join an existing mix of major international businesses in the professional services and technology sectors, including Qualcomm, Oracle and Hewlett-Packard.

Comprising 325,000 sq ft (30,193 sq m) of modern workspace, across 12 buildings, Cambridge Business Park is one of the area’s premier business location. Situated in the northern cluster, the Park is adjacent to the new Cambridge North railway station, further improving connectivity, with routes to Kings Cross and Liverpool Street in London as well as Norwich and Kings Lynn.

Claire Maude, Asset Manager at The Crown Estate, comments: “Cambridge Business Park is a thriving business community, with many longstanding occupiers. With the park set to benefit from major new transport links as soon as next year, we are confident of seeing high demand for the park’s last remaining office space”

William Clarke, associate director in the business space team at Savills Cambridge, adds: “Newton House offers premium office accommodation at Cambridge’s most highly sought after business park. As the first available premises on the park since Christmas 2014, Newton House presents a rare opportunity for prospective occupiers to join this thriving on-site professional community and tap into the improved connectivity that Cambridge North will now provide.”
