MID Communications signs up for office space at Stakehill Industrial Estate, Middleton

03 May 2017

CEG, represented by international real estate advisor Savills, has let Link House at Stakehill Industrial Estate in Middleton, Manchester to MID Communications.

The growing communications company has agreed a new 10-year lease for the entire 6,048 sq ft (562 sq m) office building.  The deal follows a letting to TS (UK) Limited in December 2016 for the last remaining warehouse at Stakehill Industrial Estate, which took the scheme’s industrial element to fully let.

The estate is accessed direct from the A627(M), which links to the M62, and features 46 modern and refurbished warehouse units.  Occupiers include Yodel, DHL and Scania, as well as a strong presence of local companies based on the scheme’s proximity to Rochdale, Oldham and Manchester city centre.

Paul Richardson, investment manager at CEG, comments: “Stakehill Industrial Estate has gone from strength to strength as a quality business location and, following investment into refurbishing the accommodation and environment, it remains in strong demand.  We look forward to welcoming MID Communications to this successful estate.”

Daniel Barnes, associate in the office agency team at Savills, adds: “Link House combines good quality office space with a very well-connected location, both of which contribute to its occupier appeal.  We are pleased to have secured this transaction with MID Communications.”

MID Communications was unrepresented.  WHR is joint letting agent at the scheme with Savills.
