ICT firm Caldero logs on at Concordia Works, Leeds

23 February 2017

The ICT firm has agreed a new five-year lease for 4,828 sq ft (449 sq m) across the ground and lower ground floors.  The deal is the third to be secured at the property since the recent completion of a major refurbishment, following lettings to Yonder Consulting and Bark & Bite in late 2016.

Concordia Works, which dates back to the early 20th Century, now offers 13,922 sq ft (1,294 sq m) of warehouse-style office space.  Original features such as exposed brickwork, cast iron beams and columns have been maintained throughout, while modern facilities including cycle storage and showers have also been added.

The building is located on the southern fringe of Leeds city centre, adjacent to the urban garden recently created in Sovereign Square and numerous restaurants, coffee shops and bars.  Leeds Station and the city’s main retail pitch are both a short walk away.

Paddy Carter, associate director in the offices team at Savills Leeds, comments:  "The combination of quirky period features, high spec office space and a central location at Concordia Works is proving attractive to a wide range of occupiers.  This letting is the third to complete in as many months and we now have just one floor remaining.”
