22 February 2017

Harbert European Real Estate Fund III, represented by international real estate advisor Savills, has let Unit H1, Heywood Point at Heywood Distribution Park near Manchester to Moran Logistics Ltd.

Heywood Point is a speculatively developed scheme of two units comprising H1 and H2, which extend to 69,476 sq ft (6,454 sq m) and 148,856 sq ft (13,829 sq m) respectively.  Moran Logistics Ltd, a UK provider of logistics solutions, will join existing occupiers including Argos, dfs, Eddie Stobart and Wincanton at Heywood Distribution Park.

Alex Palfreyman, associate director in the industrial team at Savills Manchester, comments: “Heywood Distribution Park is one of the best known and most established parks in the North West, offering high quality accommodation and a rich mix of tenants. We are extremely pleased to welcome Moran Logistics to the park.”

Rob McAdoo, managing director at Moran Logistics Ltd, adds: “Heywood Distribution Park is the latest addition to our national network.  It is strategically located to allow our business to further enhance its service to our customers and in turn create further opportunities.”

Jonathan Bishop of Bishop Property Consultants, which manages Moran Logistics properties, says: “First class distribution accommodation in a strategic location with easy access to Manchester city centre and beyond was key for our client and Heywood Point made an obvious choice as a result.”

Savills is jointly instructed at the park with B8RE and CBRE.
