Trebor & Seddon Developments to speculatively develop two industrial units in Staffordshire

03 January 2017

Trebor and Seddon Developments have been granted planning consent to speculatively develop two new industrial units totalling 144,000 sq ft (13,378 sq m) in Staffordshire, with Savills and BNP Paribas instructed as joint letting agents.

Construction of the 66,000 sq ft (6,190 sq m) and 78,000 sq ft (7,145 sq m) warehouses will begin in the spring and complete before the end of 2017.  Known as Prime Point 14, the site is located one mile from Junction 14 of the M6 along the A34 and 1.5 miles north of Stafford town centre.  The area is an established industrial hub, with nearby occupiers including Screwfix, Alstom, Culina and Arnold Clark.

Bob Tattrie, managing partner of Trebor Developments, comments: "The granting of planning is the next milestone to us developing this key site, located a short distance from Junction 14 of the M6.  The size of units proposed meets a gap in the Midlands and Staffordshire market for quality industrial accommodation of this type.  It is now full steam ahead to deliver in 2017."

Ranjit Gill, industrial director at Savills, adds: “We are very pleased to be working with Trebor and Seddon Developments on Prime Point 14, which will deliver much needed, high quality new industrial space in an area where occupier demand significantly outweighs supply.”
