Manufacturer expansion takes Middleton's Stakehill industrial estate to fully let

14 December 2016

CEG, represented jointly by Savills and WHR, has let the last remaining warehouse at Stakehill Industrial Estate in Middleton to TS (UK) Limited.  The deal takes the park, which was 45% void when acquired by clients of CEG in 2012, to fully let.

TS (UK) Limited, which specialises in the production of plastic products for domestic use, has agreed a new 10-year lease for a 44,612 sq ft (4,144 sq m) unit known as G2 at a rent of £5.75 per sq ft (£62 per sq m).  This new facility is in addition to a 108,000 sq ft (10,033 sq m) warehouse the firm has occupied at Stakehill for a number of years.

The estate features a total of 46 modern and refurbished warehouse units, with occupiers including Yodel, DHL and Scania.  It is accessed direct from the A627(M) which links to the M62, and also has a strong presence of local companies based on its proximity to Rochdale, Oldham and Manchester city centre.

Stuart Murray, industrial director at Savills, comments: “We are pleased that Stakehill Industrial Estate is now fully let following significant investment in refurbishment works over the last few years.  The high calibre of occupiers which have chosen the estate is testament to its prime location and the quality of space on offer.”

TS (UK) Limited was unrepresented.
