New retail units available on Emperors Way in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire

On behalf of Newcrest, Savills has been instructed to market new build retail units on Emperors Way in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire.

The proposed scheme is set to comprise a terrace of four units and will be anchored by a new 4,000 sq ft (372 sq m)  Co-operative food store with an adjoining 1,000 sq ft (93 sq m) pre-let to charity shop Barnados. Due for completion in late Spring 2017, the development includes a further two units each totaling 800 sq ft (74 sq m) or one unit of 1,600 sq ft (144 sq m), which is available to pre-let at a starting quoting rent of £16,000 per annum. Permitted uses include A1, A2, A3, A4 and A5 offering a wide range of potential options.

Ian Muxlow, director at Savills Nottingham, comments: “The proposed new neighborhood shopping centre will be situated within a major new housing development and will provide amenity to the local area.
