Flurry of deals takes Wellington Road Industrial Estate in Leeds to fully let

On behalf of Blackrock Industrial Trust (BRIT), a joint venture between Blackrock and Canmoor, Savills has agreed two new lettings at Wellington Road Industrial Estate in Leeds.  The deals coincide with two others which will see existing tenants expand into additional units, taking the scheme to fully let.

Octagon Entertainment has agreed a new five-year lease for a 7,556 sq ft (701 sq m) warehouse at a rent of £5.75 per sq ft (£61.50 per sq m), while Blue Beacon has taken a 3,616 sq ft (336 sq m) unit for a term of five years and will pay £5.25 per sq ft (£56.50 per sq m). 

Additionally, Awesome Merchandise has expanded into a larger 18,719 sq ft (1,739 sq m) property and Duftons now occupies three units at the estate, taking its total footprint to 13,601 sq ft (1,264 sq m).

Wellington Road Industrial Estate encompasses a total of 12 properties, with other occupiers including Harley Davidson, Hertz and Royal Mail.  The scheme fronts on to the inner ring road of Leeds and is less than a 10 minute walk from the city centre.
