Savills secures sale & leaseback of Melford Court, Ipswich

IPPLUS (UK) Limited, advised by Savills, has sold the freehold of 1 – 2 Melford Court at Ransomes Europark in Ipswich to a private investor for £1.95 million, reflecting a net initial yeld of 8.98%.

The 15,500 sq ft (1,439 sq m) office building will be leased back to the telephony solutions  provider, who has agreed to a new 10-year lease for the property.

The sale offered a rare opportunity to acquire a freehold office building with a strong covenant, whilst enabling our client, IPPLUS, to remain in the premises to continue servicing their existing customer base.”
