Green Oaks Shopping Centre welcomes two new retailers in Widnes

26 September 2016

Opus North, advised by Savills, has let two units at Green Oaks Shopping Centre in Widnes to Pandora and Crawshaw Butchers.

Pandora has agreed to a new 10-year lease for a 1,850 sq ft (171 sq m) store inside the Centre, whilst Crawshaw Butchers has also agreed to a new 10-year lease for a 1,019 sq ft (94 sq m) unit fronting onto Albert Road.

These deals follow a flurry of activity at Green Oaks with retailers including Roman Originals, Carphone Warehouse, Keep Time Watch, Rymans and Halifax all recommitting to new leases.

David Charlton, associate in the retail team at Savills Manchester, comments: “Situated in a prime location in the centre of Widnes, Greek Oaks Shopping Centre benefits from significant footfall generated by the quality retail offer, links to the High Street and a significant parking provision. These latest deals, both to new occupiers and those already present at the shopping centre, are a testament to the strength of the scheme and town and we are very pleased to have secured these lettings on behalf of our client.”

Rawstron Johnson act as joint letting agents with Savills.
