DTZi seals deal with home bargains for Grove Farm Retail Park, Chadwell Heath

DTZ Investors, represented by international real estate advisor Savills, has let a unit at Grove Farm Retail Park in Chadwell Heath, Greater London to Home Bargains.

The retailer has agreed a new 15-year lease for the 14,069 sq ft (1,307 sq m) former Staples store at a rent of £16.50 per sq ft (£177.60 per sq m).  Located on High Road, the park offers 50,000 sq ft (4,645 sq m) of retail space across four units of which the other three are let to Lidl, Halfords and Iceland.

Johnny Rowland, out of town retail director at Savills, comments: “DTZ Investors has undertaken a successful asset management programme since acquiring Grove Farm Retail Park in December last year.  We are pleased to have strengthened the retailer line up with the addition of Home Bargains as part of those plans.”
