Four international retailers sign up for Old Spitalfields Market, London

18 July 2016

Tribeca Holdings, represented jointly by Savills and Cushman & Wakefield, have secured four new international retailers for Old Spitalfields Market (OSM) in London.

lululemon has leased a 7,500 sq ft (696 sq m) store in the market’s flower building on Commercial Street, which will be its first in East London.  Fashion brands Rag & Bone and Zadig & Voltaire have leased 2,000 sq ft (186 sq m) and 1,500 sq ft (139 sq m) units respectively, both of which are on Commercial Street and will be the brands’ first at OSM and within Shoreditch.  All three stores will be open by autumn 2016.

Additionally, Estée Lauder has opened the first Jo Malone store in Shoreditch in a 1,200 sq ft (111 sq m) unit on Brushfield Street, following the success of MAC and Bobbi Brown at OSM.  The deals follow the opening of the new McQ by Alexander McQueen flagship store on the corner of Commercial Street and Lamb Street.

The historic Old Spitalfields Market totals 127,000 sq ft (11,798 sq m) and features an eclectic mix of global retailers, independent brands and market stalls.  Located in the heart of Shoreditch, it also has an extensive leisure offer with numerous bars, restaurants and cafes.

CBRE represented lululemon, HDH and Ascana represented Zadig & Voltaire, JLL represented Jo Malone and Rag & Bone was unrepresented.
