New owners confirmed for historic Dunster Castle Hotel, Somerset

International real estate advisor Savills, on behalf of a private client, has sold the Grade II listed Dunster Castle Hotel in Dunster, Somerset to Lisa and John Richardson from a guide price of £850,000.

The new owners are a family business and previously ran a successful venture in West Wales.  Their plans for Dunster Castle Hotel include transforming the ‘Great Room’ into a premier wedding and function venue as well as creating a traditional restaurant with grand piano, cocktail bar and snug bar.  The eight bedrooms will also be refreshed while the garden will be developed into an area for relaxing outdoors.
