Savills Studley Hires Willy Mann as Senior Workplace Strategist in L.A.

24 May 2017

Savills Studley, the leading commercial real estate services firm specializing in tenant representation, has hired Willy Mann as a Senior Workplace Strategist based in Los Angeles. He joins Evelyn Lee, Corporate Managing Director of Workplace Strategy & Analytics, on the west coast. Lee is based in San Francisco and started with the firm earlier this year.

“As companies are increasingly putting people first, we are seeing strong client demand for workplace strategy expertise in Los Angeles, San Francisco and other west coast hubs,” said Josh Gorin, Executive Vice President and Branch Manager, Downtown Los Angeles. “We are pleased to expand our focus on workforce wellness, engagement and effectiveness as companies continue to rethink and realign traditional workplace strategies in response to a number of factors, most significantly, the competition to attract and retain talent.”

Mann will work closely with Lee and other Workplace Strategy team members across the country to help organizations leverage their environments to serve and support the workforce of the future.

Mann’s areas of expertise include data analytics, graphic design, visual storytelling, stakeholder engagement, design research and space planning. He combines these skills with a thorough understanding of contemporary urban dynamics to inform and deliver creative and strategic spatial solutions for corporate, education, municipal and nonprofit clients.

Prior to joining Savills Studley, Willy was an experience designer with VITAL, where he was part of a group developing innovative workplace initiatives for Google’s new Mountain View Campus and international workplace portfolio. Before that, he was a design strategist at MKThink.

“I’ve worked with Willy previously and his passion for understanding the user experience and focus on human-centered design dovetails perfectly with Savills Studley’s dedication to tenants’ needs,” said Lee, a licensed architect and recognized expert and thought leader in workplace strategy. “Rather than simply emphasizing workplace efficiencies, our focus is on increasing the effectiveness of the workforce itself. Through a comprehensive understanding of organizational needs, relationships and metrics, we develop creative solutions that distinguish client environments and enrich the employee experience.”

Savills Studley’s Workplace Strategy team is expanding nationally and has more than doubled its headcount in the last six months.
